Harlequins to Host South DI Women's Collegiate Playoffs

The Harlequins will be hosting the South DI Women's Collegiate Playoffs, March 30–31, 2013. Matches begin at 9am at the Quins' home pitch location:

Quins to Host 2013 Skills Camp

 

The Harlequins will be hosting another skills camp geared toward collegiate women's clubs, experienced players, and other ladies in the south who may be new to the sport who want to get more technical skills instruction. All are welcome to attend!

We heard your feedback from last year and will be upping the skill level for those experienced players while still providing solid base-level skills for younger players, so feel free to bring your rookies and vets!

Atlanta Harlequins Win 2012 USA Rugby Women's Division I Championships

The Harlequins came away with the biggest of all wins on Sunday with a 33-14 win over ORSU, elevating the Quins from #3 in the nation to #1 in the nation for Women's Division I rugby.

Quins With 2 Complete Shutouts at Playoffs

The Harlequins came away with two complete shutouts during the self-hosted 2012 Women's Division I Playoffs!

58-0 versus Chicago Women 39-0 versus Detroit

The Quins will now face ORSU (Oregon Sports Union) in the Championship match at the 2012 USA Rugby Women's National Championships in Ft. Myers, FL (Nov. 11).

Week 6: Quins defeat the New York Village Lions in the final matrix match of the season with a final score of 63-5! The Quins D2 side also defeated New Orleans in a friendly match with a final score of 48-7!

The Atlanta Harlequins Women’s Rugby Football Club has been chosen by USA Rugby (the governing body for rugby in the United States) as hosts for the 2012 USA Rugby Women’s Division I Elite 8 Playoffs.

The Division I Elite 8 Playoffs, taking place October 27–28, 2012, brings the top eight Division I women’s rugby clubs in the United States to the Atlanta area to battle for one of the two spots in the final match at the national championships, taking place on November 10 in Naples, Florida.

For this event, the Harlequins are glad to be working in cooperation with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation, Gwinnett County Visitors Bureau, the City of Lawrenceville, and the Atlanta Sports Council to make this national event a great success for all attending teams, volunteers, spectators, as well as the Atlanta metropolitan area.

The Harlequins will be having an ice cream fundraiser in partnership with Frosty Caboose Ice Cream Shop! On July 19 & July 26 from 11:30AM to 10:00PM (both Thursdays), 10% of purchases will go to the Harlequins Summer 7s program.
